1) Philippe Coutinho to Liverpool – An almost done deal with various reports suggesting that we’ve agreed fee with Inter, personal terms with the player and his work permit has been approved. Pictures of Coutinho signing/with a Liverpool jersey have already surfaced yet Liverpool fans are still waiting for the official confirmation from the club.
2) Tom Ince to Liverpool – Tom Ince has been strongly linked with a return to his former club. When Liverpool sold Ince to Blackpool they included a clause which involved Blackpool paying 35% of the fee to Liverpool if they decide to sell him. Liverpool thought they had a deal for the player in December, however, Blackpool have increased his price to £8m in January, a fee Liverpool aren’t ready to pay. Reading have also joined the race to sign the player while Liverpool refuse to pay more than £6m for him. Ince is a Liverpool fan and attended Liverpool’s game against Oldham on Sunday and reports suggest that he will attend tonight’s game against Arsenal. Liverpool are ready to wait till the summer to finalise a deal for the player.
3) Jack Butland to Liverpool – Birmingham needs cash and they are ready to offload their prodigy for cut-price fee of approximately £3.5m! Butland previously valued at £10m by his club is already the first choice keeper for England’s Under-21 team and should Reina decide to leave in the summer, he’ll be a adequate back-up to the squad. For £3.5m, he’ll be a bargain buy for Liverpool.
