EMENIKE DEVELOPMENTS

West Ham have a deal in place is to sign Fenebahce striker Emmanuel Emenike on loan with an option to buy in the summer.

Sky Sports News HQ understands all the terms of the deal are now sorted and agreed with the exception of one detail - the loan fee Fenerbahce are asking for.

It is understood this will be discussed with the hope of a resolution in the next 24 hours.

Former Nigeria international Emenike is currently on loan with UAE club Al-Ain, who are happy for him to go.

WEST HAM LATEST

West Ham are closing in on the signing Emmanuel Emenike subject to agreeing a loan fee with Fenerbahce.

The striker has been on loan at Al Ain this season but the club have not registered him for the rest of the season as one of their overseas players.

Staying at Upton Park, we understand Galatasaray are only keen on a permanent deal for striker Burak Yilmaz.

West Ham have offered a loan deal but it is our understanding the Turkish club and the player, who would cost between £7m and £8m, are not keen on that.

We understand the Premier League club do not want to sign both players.

MAVRIAS LEAVES SUNDELRAND

Sunderland midfielder Charis Mavrias has joined 2 Bundesliga side Fortuna Dusseldorf on loan for the rest of the season.

The 21-year-old joined the Black Cats in 2013 from Greek side Panathinaikos.

His only appearance for Sunderland this season was in the 3-1 FA Cup defeat at Arsenal on January 9.

HOWARD IN MLS TALKS'

Major League Soccer side Colorado Rapids have begun transfer negotiations with Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard, according to reports in the United States.

Everton have denied talks have reached an advanced stage- and would need to act quickly to sign a replacement with the MLS season beginning in March - although it is understood the deal is more likely to be completed in May.

SUAREZ POISED FOR MEDICAL

Fiorentina defender Mario Suarez is set to arrive in the UK tonight ahead of undergoing a medical at Watford tomorrow, Sky sources understand.

We understand the fee to be ?5.5m euros (£4.1m) and the former Atletico Madrid man will sign a three-and-a-half-year deal, subject to successfully completing his medical.

LEICESTER WANT REMY

Leicester City want Loic Remy to boost their Premier League title bid but have had a £7.6million bid rejected for the Chelsea striker, according to the London Evening Standard.

STOKE PREPARE BOJAN DEAL

Sky sources have told us that Stoke City are preparing an improved contract offer for their forward Bojan.

The Spaniard, who signed from Barcelona in the summer of 2014 and cost Stoke £1m, has been the subject of reported interest from Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United.

But Mark Hughes has made it clear he doesn't want Bojan to leave the Britannia Stadium, and it's understood talks will begin soon over an improved contract for the 25-year-old.

COATES IN LISBON

Sky sources: Sunderland defender Sebastian Coates is currently in Lisbon to sign on loan at Sporting until the end of the season.

The Uruguayan has made 16 Premier League appearances for the Black Cats this season, and will have a medical today.
