BOUNREMOUTH AGREE WIGGINS DEAL

Sky sources: Bournemouth have agreed a deal with Sheffield Wednesday to sign left-back Rhoys Wiggins.

The 28-year-old Wales U21 international moved to Wednesday from Charlton in the summer.

GOMIS A TOON TARGET

Swansea striker Bafetimbi Gomis is a Deadline Day target for Newcastle United, according to Sky sources.

The clubs have already successfully negotiated a deal to take Jonjo Shelvey to St James’ Park in a £12m deal earlier this month and manager Steve McClaren is a big admirer of Gomis.

However, Wales Online report that the Swans will not consider selling the striker to their rivals for survival at the foot of the Premier League table.
