Mesut Ozil may have secured his switch to Arsenal for a club record £42.4 million, but he has not yet sorted out where he is going to live.
The German international fortunately has an international break upon which to sort it out.
His German singer girlfriend Mandy Capristo sent a friend to head to London to find a dream home for the pair to live.
German newspaper Bild reports that he is taking the rental route, and has a quite unsurprisingly hefty budget with which to do so.
"The requirements to his new home: at least six rooms, kitchen, bathroom. Budget: Around 7700 ? rent per month."
That works out at £6,500 per month, quite a hefty figure even by London property standards.
But it was not so simple. Bild add that his upon finding a dream luxury apartment for them, the destination of choice was in... Chelsea.
Not only in the location of their Premier League rivals, but an arduous drive through the city to Arsenal's London Colney training ground each morning.
We don't suppose it will be long until Ozil finds his dream home. Arsenal fans will just hope one of the six rooms he requires will be to amass all the medals he intends on winning at the club.
