Stoke City have offered £15million for Tottenham Hotspur defender Kevin Wimmer.

Stoke have joined the race for the Austria international, who looks likely to leave next week, but it is believed their initial bid was turned down by Spurs.

ICYMI: STOKE AGREE £15m WIMMER DEAL

Stoke have agreed a £15m deal with Tottenham for defender Kevin Wimmer, according to Sky sources.

The Austrian international is expected to undergo a medical in the coming days ahead of a move to the bet3 65 Stadium.

If all being well, he will become manager Mark Hughes' seventh major signing of the summer transfer window.
