Valencia Deny Juan Mata Is Signing For Barcelona - Report

Juan Mata's signing for Barcelona has dominated Spanish headlines in the past day, but as reported by AS, Valencia vice-president Javier Gomez has denied any sort of deal.
"There is no agreement and we have not even spoken of Mata with another club," said Gomez. "Any offer will be studied for a player, but for Mata, I insist, there is nothing."
Onda Cero reported earlier today that former Real Madrid youth player Mata has signed for Barcelona for the next five seasons and the Blaugrana will pay ?20 million for the player's transfer.
If confirmed, Barca would count on as many as nine of Vicente del Bosque's 23 Spanish international players currently playing at the World Cup (Valdes, Puyol, Pique, Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta, Pedro, Villa, and Mata). Furthermore, Barca are heavily linked to Cesc Fabregas, also a rising star on the international stage with Spain.
