Jan 19 Davis has been suspended for one game without pay by the NBA for his actions in Monday's win over Seattle. The guard received a technical foul after taking a swipe at the Sonics' Luke Ridnour shortly before halftime, hitting him in the chest. He will be absent from the Warriors' lineup for Friday's meeting with the Cleveland Cavaliers, allowing Derek Fisher to get the nod.

Advice: Davis will return to action when the Warriors travel to Los Angeles for a game against the Clippers on Sunday. In 36 contests this season, he is averaging 18.1 points, 9.3 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 1.7 steals.
