News: Rockets guard Jeremy Lin was labeled day to day after twisting his ankle at the end of practice Tuesday, the Houston Chronicle reports. Lin, who matched a career-high with 38 points during a loss to San Antonio on Monday, is considered questionable for Wednesday's game against Washington. He is still averaging only 11.4 points per game this season.
Analysis: While Lin's scoring is down this year, his assist totals continue to hover around his average from his breakout campaign with New York last season. The 24-year-old is posting 6.1 dimes per game despite a lowly stretch in that regard recently. He has surpassed five assists just twice in five games this month for an average of 5.0 per outing.
