Real Madrid and Málaga are scheduled to have another meeting thisFriday, one month after contact was first made at the Bernabéu, toclarify each clubs position regarding Isco's transfer.


This time round some kind of agreement could be reached. The playeris closer than ever to Real. In the time that has elapsed since thefirst meeting took place, Isco seems to have opted to make Real Madridhis next stop.


The player has an offer on the table from Manchester City, but he'dprefer to go to Real. His release clause currently stands at ?35million, but this amount is open to negotiation.


The deal might even include players such as Callejón, Jesé or even Morata.

Monreal: Isco has already signed for Madrid


The left-back thinks his former club mate has joinedthe Bernabeu outfit and possesses everything needed to succeed in thecapital

Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal believes Malaga star Isco has finalised a deal to join Real Madrid.

The young attacker is the subject of a transfer tug-of-war between los Blancos and Manuel Pellegrini's Manchester City, with both teams vying for his signature to rebuild following failed title bids.

AndMonreal, who played alongside Isco between 2011 to 2013 at La Rosaleda,says his compatriot has snubbed Pellegrini's approaches for a move tothe Bernabeu.

"Isco has succeeded wherever he has gone. I believehe has already signed for Real Madrid and I'm sure he'll do very wellbecause he is a great player," the 27-year-old told Marca.

"He may cost them, but together they will have opportunities and they will seize them."

A likely victim of los Blancos'revolution will be Gonzalo Higuain who has been tipped to join Arsenalthis summer, with Monreal welcoming the striker to the Emirates withopen arms.

"I would love it. Higuain is a part of football, and Ialways loved how he played for Real Madrid. He is a scorer and would bea reinforcement that we could really use," he continued.

"Arsenalare one of the biggest teams in England and this summer they areworking towards good signings to break that [trophy-less] streak."

Despitenot being a permanent fixture under former coach Jose Mourinho, Higuainstill scored 16 goals in 28 Liga appearances as Madrid finished secondlast term.

The Argentine's goal record is also understood to have made him a target of Juventus.

Isco: Malaga playmaker could be heading to Real Madrid

Isco has admitted that the prospect of a move to Real Madrid is 'exciting' as Spanish reports claim he has rejected Manchester City to seal a move to Santiago Bernabeu.

Real and City have been leading the chase for the Spain international, who helped his country to European Under-21 Championship glory this summer.

Both teams have been locked in talks with Malaga, as Manuel Pellegrini looked to raid his old club for the brilliant young playmaker.

However, it now appears that Real Madrid, despite being without a coach, are set to win the race for his coveted signature.

Speaking to AS, Isco refused to confirm who he would be signing for but did say of Real: "Madrid excites me.

"They are one of the best teams in the world."

It is claimed that Madrid have agreed to a deal worth ?30million (£25million), with the possibility of Denis Cheryshev joining Malaga.

As well as City, Isco is also reported to have shunned approaches from Monaco and Borussia Dortmund.
