Routledge wings it to Magpies
Winger signs three-and-a-half-year deal

Newcastle have beaten Middlesbrough to the signing of Queens Park Rangers winger Wayne Routledge.
Middlesbrough had hoped to sign the 25-year-old after tabling a bid for his services, but Newcastle have stolen in to lure Routledge
to St James' Park.
The news is a major blow for Boro boss Gordon Strachan as he had made Routledge one of his top targets during this month's transfer
window.
Routledge has penned a three-and-a-half year deal at Newcastle after passing a medical and agreeing personal terms.
The former Tottenham and Aston Villa man is Newcastle's second permanent signing of the month following Danny Simpson's arrival from
Manchester United.
Routledge is expected to go straight into the Newcastle squad for Wednesday's game with old club Crystal Palace.
