David Moyes raised the stakes in his battle with Everton for Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini by hinting his old club should sell the pair for the good of their careers.
Everton have been outspoken in their criticism of Moyes and Manchester United since the Barclays Premier League champions submitted a joint bid of £28million
for the Goodison Park stars.They described the offer as ‘derisory’ and Everton manager Roberto Martinez has suggested United behaved better in the past.



Asked on Friday if he had sympathy for Martinez, Moyes said: ‘I definitely do. But I also know that if I was the Everton manager and Sir Alex had come asking for Baines and Fellaini,
I would have found it very difficult to keep them.  'I always felt the right thing to do was what was right for the players.
‘All we can do is our job here. Roberto is in a new job and I am sure he will get to understand how Everton work. I know exactly how Everton work. I signed every player at Everton.
‘I respect Everton greatly and I don’t want to do anything that would in turn affect them.
‘Of course, taking their players would affect them but I am certainly only doing what I have to do in my job.’



‘The bid was probably, from our point of view, a private thing and I guess when we make a new offer we will keep that confidential as well,’ he said.
‘I speak to (Everton chairman) Bill Kenwright most weeks. I get on with him. So there is no disrespect. This is just a case of making an offer.
‘The transfer window is open and you can say yes or no, it’s as simple as that.’
With United yet to sign a player in the post-Ferguson era, questions are being asked about the effectiveness of Moyes and new chief executive Ed Woodward in the market.
Moyes admitted for the  first time yesterday that United may not secure any signings in this transfer window.

Roberto Martinez is angered by David Moyes' bids for Fellaini and Baines

ROBERTO MARTINEZ hit out at David Moyes over his pursuit of Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini and branded Manchester United disrespectful.



The Everton manager called United's offer for midfielder Fellaini - less than Moyes paid for him - "nonsense" and said the Premier League champions have made the saga "a farce".

Moyes had a joint £28million bid for the midfielder and the left-back rejected but Martinez is unhappy his predecessor has been talking publicly about another club's players.

And the Spaniard pointed out that Moyes faces the same situation with Wayne Rooney and took the moral high ground by keeping quiet about the striker's situation.

Martinez said: "If managers start talking about players who are registered at other clubs, that is the end of the whole thing.

"I am sure they have got many issues in the same manner and I could easily come out and give my opinions about these players but I will be more respectful."

Manchester United plan £25m 'Marouane Fellaini only' transfer offer to Everton



Everton match-winner Marouane Fellaini in the next 24 hours.

And, as Moyes plots his reunion with the Belgium midfielder, his Goodison successor Roberto Martinez is set to offer his former employers Wigan £10m-plus for James McCarthy as Fellaini's replacement.

Martinez has rejected a combined bid from champions United for Fellaini and left-back Leighton Baines,
but now looks on the brink of cashing in on one of the pair.

Moyes's joint offers for the pair have fallen short so far, but the stand-alone bid for Fellaini - around £20m, plus extras - looks like suiting all parties.

Martinez wants Republic of Ireland star McCarthy to follow him from Wigan to the Toffees, and is set to make an offer for the player he groomed for the top.

Wigan supremo Dave Whelan wants £20million for McCarthy but Everton plan to make a lower offer that will be acceptable -
and give manager Owen Coyle time to re-invest the money in his Championship promotion chasers.

Ironically, Coyle has lined up a season-long loan for Manchester United's young midfielder Nick Powell, who could play the McCarthy role.

雖然認同正常來講球員一定唔會咁諗

但如果佢真係咁諗，我覺得又可以理解

即係如果佢想轉去大會，如果之後因為十分好表現，令到原屬球會吊高來賣/唔貴唔賣，咁佢就更難轉會了

舉例指出假如巴利一早想轉去大會，點知上2季打到曉飛咁，就算今季無歐聯打，球會都無80m，甚至100m唔肯賣，佢就更難轉到會了(如果唔係有皇馬肯出咁既價錢，除時去已經o係大球場獻技lu)

至於球員人工會因為身價暴漲而連帶增加係另一個課題來了

始終我地唔知每名球員點將人工、出場機會、是否踢大會、有無得打歐聯作衡量的吧
