Ragnar Klavan could leave Liverpool before the end of the month.

The Reds will listen to offers for the 32-year-old centre-back, who is keen to secure more regular game time.

Klavan arrived at Anfield from FC Augsburg for £4.2million in 2016 and a return to the Bundesliga before August 31 is a possibility.

Liverpool snubbed an approach from Newcastle United prior to last week's Premier League transfer deadline with Jurgen Klopp short of defensive cover.

However, with Joel Matip now back in training and Dejan Lovren only expected to be sidelined for a few weeks with a pelvic problem, Klopp is open to the idea of granting Klavan a move.

Joe Gomez impressed alongside Virgil van Dijk in Sunday's 4-0 thrashing of West Ham at Anfield. Klopp also has centre-back cover in the form of Academy youngster Nat Phillips, who made giant strides forward over the course of pre-season.

Estonia international Klavan is close to full fitness himself after a recent hamstring issue.

The 32-year-old defender has clocked up 53 appearances for the Reds over the past two seasons. He has entered the final year of a three-year contract but Liverpool have the option to extend it by a further 12 months.

Klopp isn't actively looking to move on Klavan, who is regarded as a model professional.

And if the right opportunity doesn't come up then he will remain a valued member of the squad for the 2018/19 campaign.

A number of fringe players are set to move on before August 31 with Lazar Markovic, Divock Origi, Simon Mignolet and Pedro Chirivella expected to depart.

由世界盃期間已經腸胃肌肉有問題，直至番到黎TRAINING CAMP都仲係唔掂，已經去左荷蘭就診，暫時未有新消息。

所以Gomez應該有幾場貨可以打，直至Matip復出再爭正選。
