England attacker Ashley Young looks to be winning his fitness battle ahead of England’s Euro 2012 quarter-final against Italy.
The 26-year-old suffered a knock to his shin during the Three Lions' 1-0 victory over Ukraine on Tuesday, a win which ensured they topped Group D.
It initially appeared that the Manchester United man would be unavailable for the clash with Cesare Prandelli's men on Sunday but manager Roy Hodgson expects all 23 players to be available for selection.
"All 22 players either trained or did recovery work," said an FA spokesman following a closed training session on Thursday morning.
Jermain Defoe was the only absence from Thursday's session, after the Tottenham striker returned to England for his father's funeral.
The 29-year-old is expected to be back in Krakow for training on Friday morning, which will be open to the public for thirty minutes.
The training session will give a clearer indication of Young’s fitness and whether the forward will feature for Hodgson against Italy.
England will be looking to secure a semi-final appearance in a major tournament for the first time since Euro '96.
