Some valid questions have been asked by our readers over the past few days so I have spoken to our contact within Yahoo and can confirm the following:
- The Yahoo team are investigating why Grant Holt was given negative points for a red card AND a yellow card after his sending off against Wolves. It's clearly a mistake so we're hopeful it can be rectified and if it is then Holt owners can expect an extra 3 points allocated to their weekly total.
- Another scoring error in the same game was applied to Matt Jarvis; he was awarded points for a goal and an assist despite the fact Wolves only scored 1 goal. Again this is been looked in to but it does appear that the Opta data fed to Yahoo for the Norwich City v Wolverhampton game contained some bugs, so hopefully these will be corrected.
- Re: The Week 31 "Double Week" for Swansea & Newcastle. As expected, I have been told that it will NOT be a double week and that the Swansea v Newcastle fixture will be moved in to Week 32 along with the rest of the Easter Weekend fixtures.
