Be A Foot Blister
Dramatic scenes are a false alarm

David Beckham’s sensational loan deal to Tottenham looked to have been put
in jeopardy after he pulled up injured in training today.
Beckham was taking part in his second session with the north London club
when he suffered what appeared to be an injury to his right foot.
However, it has emerged that the former Manchester United midfielder had
only suffered a blister, and required strapping on his foot.
After completing fitness tests and a medical on Monday, Beckham worked out
with the Spurs players, wearing squad No.77.
The sight of him pulling up and requiring medical attention had been cause
for alarm given Spurs attempts to seal a loan move for the player, which
would almost certainly have been scuppered had the injury been serious.
The former England captain suffered a devastating injury during his previous
loan switch away from the US to Italian giants AC Milan last season.
He limped to the touchline during Milan's 1-0 win over Chievo after
rupturing his Achilles tendon in March last year, ruling him out of the
World Cup for England.
