Loans: Good Evans
We get another update on how the on-loan Reds are performing.
Corry Evans was a goalscorer for Hull in their 2-1 win at Watford, netting for the second time since joining the Tigers. The Northern Ireland international swept home a Liam Rosenior cross at the near post after only three minutes and City still harbour play-off hopes after 15 unbeaten games on their travels. Danny Drinkwater failed to get off the bench for the Hornets.
Also on the mark, again, was Bury's flying forward Nicky Ajose. The 19-year-old scored another two goals to take his tally for the season to 11, racing clear of the Northampton defence to finish clincally in a 4-2 away win.
"We've got promotion in our sights but we've got big matches coming up and we can't get carried away," said Ajose. "This was a huge win and it was great to score twice but it's important we keep our feet on the ground. I'd have got 20 goals minimum if I'd stayed fit!"
In the Premier League, Danny Welbeck played 90 minutes for Sunderland in their disappointing 3-2 home defeat to West Brom.
