Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has pulled out of Poland's friendlies against South Korea and Belarus with a back injury.
Szczesny, 21, was criticised for letting in a long-range goal in the 2-1 defeat to Tottenham this weekend, but has received rave reviews for his recent performances for the Gunners.
He has played six times for Poland, but the official Polish FA website said he has pulled out of the squad with a back injury and coach Franciszek Smuda has called up Genk goalkeeper Grzegorz Sandomierski as his replacement.
Poland are co-hosts of Euro 2012 with Ukraine and have qualified automatically for the finals already. They are travelling to South Korea for a friendly on Friday before another away match in Belarus on October 11.
Arsenal's next game is against Sunderland on October 16, and coach Arsene Wenger will hope that the goalkeeper does not join Bacary Sagna, Laurent Koscielny, Thomas Vermaelen, Johan Djourou, Abou Diaby and Jack Wilshere on the sidelines.
