Skysports.com understands several clubs are hoping to land Manchester United youngster Oliver Norwood on loan.

Norwood has just returned to United after enjoying a successful loan spell at Scunthorpe during the first half of the campaign.

The 20-year-old made 19 appearances for Scunthorpe and his performances are thought to have alerted a number of Championship and League One clubs.

Norwood, who came through United's youth system, is highly regarded within the corridors of Old Trafford and is seen as a key player in Sir Alex Ferguson's future plans.

Ferguson is ready to loan out Norwood again so that he can continue his development and Championship duo Peterborough and Coventry and League One hopefuls MK Dons are all thought to be keen on the Northern Ireland international.

All three are keen to bring in Norwood on a loan deal until the end of the season and Red Devils chief Ferguson will now decide where he feels is the best move for the player so that he can come back ready to make the step up to the United side next season.

Sevilla have confirmed the signing of Jose Antonio Reyes from Primera Division rivals Atletico Madrid.

The former Spain international has penned a three-and-a-half-year deal with the club he left to join Arsenal in 2004.

A product of Sevilla's youth team, Reyes made his debut for the club at the age of 16 and quickly set about establishing himself as one of the most exciting young players in Europe.

He left for Arsenal after four years at the Sanchez Pizjuan and spent three seasons in north London before returning to Spain in 2007 after agreeing a loan deal with Real Madrid.

However, he ultimately ended up signing for crosstown rivals Atletico the following year. He never really settled at the Vicente Calderon, though and then fell out of favour with Gregorio Manzano this season.

Despite the arrival of Diego Simeone as coach last month, Reyes, who has also been linked with a move to Galatasaray, made it clear to the Argentine that he had his heart set on a return to the club where he had made his name.

Reyes is scheduled to arrive in Seville on Thursday evening but it has not yet been confirmed when he will be officially presented to the media.

Robbie Keane: In talks with Aston Villa over a two-month loan deal from LA Galaxy

Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish has confirmed his interest in signing Robbie Keane on loan from LA Galaxy.

Villa have opened talks with Galaxy about a two-month loan deal for the Republic of Ireland international until the Major League Soccer season resumes in March.

McLeish believes the chances of doing the deal to bring Keane to Villa Park are "more than 50-50" although the move will not happen until next week at the earliest.

"We are having a look at it with Robbie and trying to pursue it," admitted McLeish.

"That is the latest although nothing is done and dusted yet.

"If we don't know by Monday, then it probably will not be done. That's why I don't want to say too much in case it doesn't happen.

"We are certainly pursuing it and at the moment, both parties are keen.

"I would say the chances are a bit better than 50-50."
