Nani and Raul Meireles in Portugal's Euro 2012 squad
Manchester United winger Nani and Chelsea midfielder Raul Meireles have been included in Portugal's 23-man squad for Euro 2012.Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is also named, one of 16 Portugal and Spain-based players in the squad.
Coach Paulo Bento has named Benfica's 20-year-old Nelson Oliveira, star of Portugal's run to the final of the last Under-20 World Cup, among his strikers.
The Portuguese will play Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark in Group B.
"It would not be surprising to see the next European champions coming out of our group," Bento said.
"We have a very clear objective, first to get to the quarter-finals, then, naturally, to try to go as far as possible.
"We are taking Nelson who is a player with different characteristics from the other strikers. He is a young man with great quality, potential and we will logically try to make him useful for us."
Portugal will hold their training camp in the medieval Portuguese town of Obidos between 21 May and 2 June before leaving for Opalenica, their headquarters in Poland.
