Sky Sports understands Hull City are close to agreeing a deal to sign Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Amos on loan.Tigers boss Steve Bruce is in the market for a new keeper after missing out on top target Brad Guzan following the American's decision to stay at Aston Villa.
A number of players have been linked with moves to the KC Stadium, but Bruce is ready to return to his old club to sign Amos on loan.
Amos is highly-rated at Old Trafford and recently signed a new deal to keep him at the club until 2015.
Amos, who has seen his path to the first-team at United blocked by David de Gea and Anders Lindegaard, made his Premier League debut last season against Stoke and also featured in the Carling Cup last term.
The 22-year-old has previously been on loan at Peterborough United and Oldham Athletic and Sir Alex Ferguson is thought to be keen to loan him out again so that he can gain more valuable first-team experience.
