Raheem Sterling, Jake Livermore and Adam Lallana added to England squad
Roy Hodgson has added Liverpool's Raheem Sterling, Tottenham Hotspur's Jake Livermore and Southampton's Adam Lallana to his depleted England squad for Tuesday's World Cup qualifier against Ukraine.
The manager called up the young trio as cover after Theo Walcott returned to Arsenal on Monday due to illness, while Daniel Sturridge was forced to sit out training also due to stomach cramps. However, the England medical team remain optimistic that Sturridge will still be available for the match at Wembley.
Only 18 England players trained on Monday morning after John Terry withdrew from the squad on Sunday because of an ankle problem.
