Portugal winger Ricardo Quaresma leaves Besiktas six months before deal expires
Besiktas have released Portugal winger Ricardo Quaresma six months before his contract was due to expire.
Quaresma, 29, has failed to settle in Turkey following his move from Inter Milan in 2010 and has often spoken of his desire to leave.
Besiktas announced on their website that following amicable talks they have paid up the remainder of his three-year deal - a sum of 1.48 million euros - and he is now available on a free transfer.
