Club terminates Manager's contract Wolves have announced that Stale Solbakken has left the Club with immediate effect. The Club have also terminated the contracts of Johan Lange, Assistant Manager and Patrick Weiser, First Team Coach.
Wolves are currently 18th in the npower Championship and have won three out of the last 16 league games after a hugely disappointing run of performances and results, culminating in Saturday’s FA Cup third round defeat to Luton Town.
Kevin Thelwell, Head of Football Development & Recruitment, will take charge of first team training until a new manager is appointed, assisted by Development Coach, Steve Weaver.
The Club would like to offer their thanks and best wishes to Stale, Johan and Patrick.
Wolves will be making no further comment to the media at this current time.

New boss to take charge at Molineux Wolves are delighted to confirm that Dean Saunders is to become the Club’s new manager.
Compensation has been agreed with Doncaster Rovers to allow the 48-year-old to take over at Molineux following Saturday’s departure of Stale Solbakken.
Saunders, who has completed the UEFA Pro Licence, has guided Rovers to second place in League One this season having started his managerial career with Wrexham.
He has also worked in the top flight as a first team coach at Blackburn and strikers coach at Newcastle, as well as being assistant manager of Wales for three years.
Saunders enjoyed an illustrious career as a player, winning the FA Cup with Liverpool and League Cup with Aston Villa, and is also fourth on the all-time goalscoring list for Wales with 22 goals from 75 appearances.
The new manager will be introduced to the media on Monday afternoon.
