CITY can confirm the signing of exciting forward Nathan Redmond from Birmingham City on a
four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 19-year-oldarrives to team up with former boss Chris Hughton, for whom he made hisdebut with Birmingham against Rochdale in 2010, going on to a make atotal of 81 appearances for the Blues in a near four-year spell.
Redmond arrives as the Canaries’ third summer signing, following the arrivals of Ricky van Wolfswinkel and Javier Garrido
.Speaking on the move, Redmond exclusively told

“I know that there is only one football club in this city and it has anexcellent fan base. The people around the football club and in the citythat I have spoken to so far have attracted me to this Club so much,it's made me realise just how much this Club means to the people of thiscity.”
Speaking on linking up with his former boss Chris Hughton once again, hesaid: “He was very influential on my career at Birmingham. He gave methe chance to play and the chance to express myself every time that Istepped on to the field and I feel like on the bigger stage he'll doexactly the same thing.
“I'd probably say I've played some of my best football under him so far.Last season was a good one for me in terms of goals and assists andjust general performances. Hopefully I can continue the form that I leftoff with last season at Birmingham.”
City boss Chris Hughton added: “Nathan is a young and exciting playerthat I had the pleasure of working with at Birmingham. He is a playerthat was of interest to us for some time and the situation has now comeabout that we can get him on our terms.
“He's someone we can bring in to the forward areas and primarily hasplayed on either wing in his career so far, but can also play off thefront. He's very keen to develop his own game, he's one of these ladsthat likes to be on the training pitch and is usually one of the lastones off the training pitch.
“I'm sure the move won't phaze him but this is still a part of his development and one he is very much looking forward to.”
