New signings allocated shirts for forthcoming campaign
STOKE CITY have announced their squad numbers for the 2013-14 campaign in the Barclays Premier League.
Dutchinternational Erik Pieters will wear number three following his arrivalfrom PSV Eindhoven for ?3.6million, while the Club’s other new signing,former Barcelona man Marc Muniesa, has been allocated number five.
Three players – Jack Butland, Brek Shea and Geoff Cameron – have taken on new squad numbers.
GoalkeeperButland, who joined the Potters from Birmingham in January but wasimmediately loaned back to the Championship club for the remainder ofthe season, will wear number 22.
USinternationals Shea, who took the number 22 shirt following his arrivalat the club in January, and Cameron, who wore number two on his back inhis first season in English football, have been allocated numbers 11and 20 respectively.
All other players will continue with the same numbers that were used during the 2012-13 campaign.
TheClub reminds supporters that it cannot accept any liability concerningprinting of numbers and names on replica shirts if players are eithertransferred in the future or have their squad number changed.
