West Brom have rejected a bid of £850,000 from Dubai club Al Nasr for Peter Odemwingie.
Odemwingie is training with the reserves while the first team squad are on a pre-season tour in Austria.
The club have told the Nigeria forward the figure does not meet theclub's value and that they will not sell unless the valuation is met.
Odemwingie famously failed to engineer a transfer deadline day deal to Queens Park Rangers despite driving to Loftus Road.
He made only infrequent appearances off the bench over the secondhalf of the season after that, and had been linked with Crystal Palace,Hull and Swansea.
However, the only confirmed bid has come from the Dubai and the32-year-old remains in limbo after being told he does not figure inSteve Clarke's plans for the season.
Odemwingie's contract at the Hawthorns is due to expire next June.

Peter Odemwingie has been left out of West Brom's squad for their pre-season tour of Austria as he nears a move to Crystal Palace.

The striker was forced to train with the academy trainees last week and remains embroiled in a dispute with the club following an abortive switch to QPR seven months ago.

Odemwingie returned to the Baggies last week following his summer break.

The 31-year-old attended a friend's wedding and was given extra time off by West Brom's head coach Steve Clarke.

But when he did pitch up at the club's training ground he found himself working alongside two 15-year-olds with one of the Baggies' physios as the rest of the first-team undertook their own session.

Clarke's travelling party for the eight-day training camp includes new boy Nicolas Anelka and six young pros – Donervorn Daniels, Cameron Gayle, Liam O’Neil, Kemar Roofe, Adil Nabi and Saido Berahino.
