Liverpool continue to deny Suarez is for sale and claim only a significant bid (believed to be over the £50 million mark) could lure the Uruguay international away from Anfield. But Wenger is set to make another audacious bid after reportedly having bids of £30 million and £35 million rejected by the Reds. According to the Daily Mail, Wenger is prepared to test the apparent release clause in Suarez's contract - which Liverpool deny could be activated with a £40 million bid - and he has the backing of Arsenal's board to do so.
