Bundesliga - Lewandowski feels 'cheated' by Dortmund
Robert Lewandowski has slammed Borussia Dortmund’s management for keeping him at the club and said the situation could affect his motivation to play for them.

Only a day after telling Bild in Germany that he was ready to give his all for Dortmund, the Poland striker told Polish newspapers FAKT and Rzeczpospolita that he feels "a bit cheated" by their conduct.

Lewandowski wanted to join Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich, who beat Dortmund in the Champions League final last season, but has been told to see out the remaining year of his contract.

He added that he had been promised ?6 million plus bonuses to stay, a sum that has not been forthcoming.

"I always give it my all," Lewandowski said. "That they keep me is not fair.

"This is a little bit strange, not so German. We are acting normally, and Borussia's management is not."

Dortmund gained a measure of revenge in the German Super Cup at the weekend, running out 4-2 winners against Bayern, with Lewandowski impressing but not on the scoresheet.

"The Super Cup against Bayern was only the beginning of the season," he warned. "I don't know if the situation will fail to leave a mark on me.

“It's in my subconscious and there will come a time when I will be in a bad mood before the game."

He joined the club from Lech Poznan in 2010 for a reported ?4.5 million (£4m) and has never renewed his contract, which is worth an estimated ?1.8m a year.
