No Cro zone: Croatia football team in bomb scare at Brazilian training camp
CROATIA were at the centre of a bomb scare at their Brazilian training camp yesterday.



Armed police and sniffer dogs went into the team's base in Praia do Forte where Niko Kovac's squad is preparing for the tournament.

Croatian media first reported there had been an anonymous tip-off about possible explosives on site.

But it was later claimed to be a routine check by security forces and that nothing had been found.

Croatia officials insisted Kovac's training schedule had not been affected and that players were never in any danger.

Croatia face Brazil in the opening match of the World Cup in Sao Paulo on Thursday, before taking on Mexico and Cameroon in their other group games.
