Bocanegra joins St Etienne from RennesRennes have agreed a deal to transfer United States defender Carlos Bocanegra to St Etienne, the Ligue 1 club have announced.
The 31-year-old defender has spent the last two seasons at Rennes after joining from Fulham in 2008.
Bocanegra, who started all four of the USA's games at the World Cup, has made 54 appearances for Rennes, scoring two goals. The terms of the deal were not revealed.
