Grant may have to opt out of Stoke clashBy Harry Harris, Football Correspondent

West Ham have informed ESPNsoccernet that Avram Grant is currently deciding whether he will opt out of the Premier League game at Stoke next week because of his deep religious beliefs.
Grant would normally observe the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, Yom Kippur. The day involves a strict 25-hour fast from working, eating and even drinking water, and work of any form is forbidden - even small tasks such as switching on a light bulb or taking a train are not allowed. That would mean he would miss the game at the Britannia Stadium a week on Saturday, which the Hammers will be desperate to take at least a point from given that it comes between matches against Chelsea and Tottenham.
However, an ESPNsoccernet source at Upton Park said: "Avram has not made up his mind just yet."
West Ham are currently bottom of the Premier League after failing to take a point from their opening three games.
