LONG LAY-OFF FOR BENDER



Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Sven Bender will be out for at least two months after being diagnosed with an inflammation of the pubic joint on Sunday.
The 24-year-old Germany international has been ordered to rest completely for six weeks, after which he is expected to need four more weeks to build up his strength again.

Bender will therefore miss Dortmund's key Bundesliga fixtures with Borussia Monchengladbach and FC Schalke 04 as well both legs of the UEFA Champions League last-16 tie with FC Zenit.
