Milan set to sack Mihajlovic as Brocchi waits in wings



The Rossoneri's woes were compounded with another defeat at the weekend, this time at the hands of Juventus, extending their winless league run to five games

Sinisa Mihajlovic's turbulent reign at AC Milan is about to come to an end, with Cristian Brocchi set to take temporary command of the Serie A giants.

Goal understands that Milan president and media magnate Silvio Berlusconi dined with Primavera coach Brocchi on Monday.

The pair met for three hours at the former Prime Minister of Italy's villa in Monza, while Mihajlovic stayed with his family in Rome.

Milan are thus expected to announce the ex-Lazio star's removal from his position on Tuesday, the same day on which Brocchi will take control of the first team on an interim basis.
