FIFA are to investigate the world-record transfer of Paul Pogba to Manchester United, a source at world football's governing body told AFP on Tuesday.

French midfielder Pogba was transferred for more than £89.3m (?105.2m) in August 2016 from Italian club Juventus.

Confirmation of the investigation came after French media reports said FIFA had opened an inquiry.

It is not yet clear what aspect of the transfer FIFA is investigating.

Pogba, 24, started his career with the English club but made just three appearances in the Premier League before heading to Italy, after an apparent falling out with then manager Alex Ferguson.

He flourished in Serie A, winning four league titles with Juventus between 2012 and 2016, and also appeared in the 2015 Champions League final, which Juventus lost 3-1 to Barcelona.

He made his international debut in March 2013, just a week after his 20th birthday, in a World Cup qualifier against Georgia. He also featured as part of the 2014 French World Cup squad and was named the tournament's best young player.

Pogba's performances at the 2016 European Championship helped attract the attention of his former club Manchester United, under new manager Jose Mourinho.

After a protracted transfer saga, lasting several weeks, Pogba eventually signed for United last August and has so far appeared in almost 50 league and cup games this season.

去年夏天，法國國腳保羅普巴（Paul Pogba）由祖雲達斯加盟曼聯，轉會費以8930萬鎊打破世界紀錄，FIFA認為當中存在可疑之處，決定介入調查。

目前為止，FIFA仍未披露更多細節，究竟為何會突然調查普巴的轉會，外界眾說紛紜。

24歲的普巴獲新帥摩連奴重用，馬上成為中場核心，各項賽事上陣48場，射入7球。

Paul Pogba's world-record transfer from Juventus to Manchester United last year is the subject of a Fifa inquiry.

Football's world governing body has written to the Premier League club "to seek clarification on the deal".

It is believed to concern who was involved in the £89.3m transfer, and how much money was paid to them.

A United spokesman said: "We do not comment on individual contracts. Fifa have had the documents since the transfer was concluded in August."

Pogba is in his second spell at Old Trafford, having left the club for Juventus for £1.5m in 2012.

The France international first joined United from French side Le Havre in acrimonious circumstances in 2009.

He returned to the club last summer for a world-record fee of 105m euros.

United also agreed to pay Juventus 5m euros (£4.5m) in performance-related bonuses, and other costs, including 5m euros if Pogba signs a new contract.

When they confirmed the transfer, Juventus said the "economic effect" to their club was "about 72.6m euros".

關於保羅普巴（Paul Pogba）去夏以1.05億歐元由祖雲達斯轉會曼聯的交易，被指涉及球員第三方擁有權的問題，而經理人拉奧拿更涉嫌從中收取4900萬歐元的佣金。國際足協（FIFA）其後介入調查，但有指最終只會向兩間球會罰款了事。

意大利媒體周六透露，FIFA已完成整個調查，並定出罰金，祖雲達斯將被罰6萬歐元，但報道沒有提及曼聯的罰金數額。

另外，拉奧拿同日也接受意大利傳媒訪問，就被指貪婪收取天價佣金作回應：「4000多萬？《足球解密》有95%關於我的報道是假的，我不會回答那些故意抹黑我的記者問題。」

FIFA opens a disciplinary procedure against Juventus for their role in the Pogba transfer: the Bianconeri's response

"A disciplinary procedure was opened against Juventus for their role in Pogba's transfer to Manchester United".
This was the declaration by a FIFA spokesperson to ESPN. They also report that Manchester United will not be investigated.
According to FIFA, Juventus are the ones who infringed on the Third-party ownership rules. This means that a player's ownership rights cannot be in possession by a third-party.
In this case, Raiola is claimed to have made a profit of 49 million euros from this operation. If the Italian champions are found guilty of any infringement, they can be find or slapped with a transfer ban.
Juventus are calm. There was no surprise, as they thought that this investigation is just a formality and that it will unfold in the coming months.
Juventus will evaluate the case and will eventually present their counter-arguments.

國際足協（FIFA）上月證實為法國中場保羅普巴去夏以破世界紀錄轉會費8930萬鎊加盟紅魔的交易展開調查，懷疑在轉會過程中出售第三方擁有權利益。事緣德國《明鏡周刊》記者指在這個轉會交易中，普巴的經理人拉奧拿涉從中獲利達4100萬鎊，包括2,300萬鎊轉會分紅，而曼聯在合約期內亦會分5年支付一筆1,639萬鎊費用，至於普巴本人會向拉奧拿的公司Uuniq q SARL支付220萬鎊。

國際足協介入調查這宗轉會交易有否可疑之處，並要求曼聯提供轉會資料，直到周二證實會就事件向祖雲達斯展開調查，而曼聯卻不會受到任何紀律調查。
