I want to share with u that
some subject will affect very much from year.

I (2001) like math (cityu) but the score need around 8~9 (2000)
thus I giveup the choice and put something more safety sub.
However, the final score is around 6 (2001)

My score was CE(AL) EEE(ASL), I got C in Pure Math which is highly related to Math sub.

=> So you can try putting 1 at 2nd~3rd choice and 1 at 4~7th choice (most interest but around 2 mark lower)
The first choice you should still choose some safety

By the way, student can change subject after finishing the Year 1 (with high GPA)
for example, you can change the engineering subject to Computer related subject.
Some credit can be transfered.

主要係睇gpa (即係成績)
如果同你讀過d科有相關更好
詳細都唔知
我個年,我係cityu,
有一個轉左去教院sport <=成績中上,有興趣體育
有一個轉左去港大(都係engineering) <=成績好, 即gpa高
有一個同校轉左programming <=成績中上,因同校及部份基礎相同有credit transfer,即讀少dd
=>近一成人轉左

即係如果你想讀電子,但入左機械,咁如果你高分都可以轉科讀電子
但如果轉d冇乜相關o既科機會細好多
