Let me explain in the next Tweet or two why Moyes has to go now.
1. Decline far too rapid. Accept not winning the league but to drop to 6/7 is unacceptable.
2. Tactics are predictable. Any side with half a clue has a chance of winning.
3. Alarming lack of chances created and goals scored. Take a defeat when having a real go. United don't get at teams any longer.
4. Transfer business this far has been strange. Fellaini not good enough in the big games. Mata not a wide midfielder. Why buy then?
5. Players clearly aren't happy. One or two not 'doing it' is normal but eight or nine regularly is unheard of.
6. 'Fergie got time.' He did, but he didn't take over the champions, didn't have a debt to service & wasn't competing against billionaires.
7. Vision. With BR at #lfc you could see where he wanted the club to go and style. I have no idea where #mufc are heading.
8. Talk of a large amount of £ to spend in the summer. You can't trust the current manager with such £ because the approach won't change.
1/2 Interesting that @RedIssue are saying Moyes has lost dressing room and Giggs. I had heard there was an issue with Giggs a few weeks ago
2/2 and that he wasn't playing an active part in meetings with the coaching staff. Might not be accurate.
This follows @honigstein belief that things are far worse than they appear at OT and many are unhappy.
Plenty asking who I would bring in. Klopp or Van Gaal. Different positive arguments for both.
Van Gaal: All about the team.Previous record of success.Might not win every year but v good chance of top 4 regularly.That appeals to board.
Klopp: Has the ability to drag the best out of players who range in ability. Also buys players at a reasonable £ and sells for more.
Give Klopp or Van Gaal access to the funds that are reportedly available and this season could be put down as a blip.
