SEVILLA TO MAKE SAKHO MOVE?

Sevilla may make a move for out-of-favour Liverpool centre-back Mamadou Sakho, according to Football Espana.

The Frenchman is a Roma and Crystal Palace target, but the Spanish side have emerged as his latest potential suitors.

However, they are unlikely to pay the ?30m (£26.9m) asking price set by the Premier League side, meaning a loan move could be on the cards.

Crystal Palace manager Frank de Boer is unsure if Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho will join the club this summer.

The 27-year old, who starred at Selhurst Park during his loan spell in the second half of last season, remains a part of the set-up in Merseyside but has not featured for Jurgen Klopp in pre-season.

Reds will demand £30million for outcast centre-back

West Brom are interested in signing £30million-rated Mamadou Sakho.

The French centre-back is up for sale and hasn't played for Liverpool since April 2016.

Having spent the second half of last season on loan to Crystal Palace, the 27-year-old is now back at Melwood rehabilitating from a knee injury sustained in April.

But he remains out of Jurgen Klopp's first-team plans with the club looking to secure £30million for the defender – with the Baggies the latest side to register their interest.

Southampton and Napoli have both been linked, while it is understood the player would prefer to return to the capital with Crystal Palace, despite the Eagles' insistence the fee was too high.

Sakho turned down a loan move to West Brom last August, but that has not deterred Tony Pulis from considering bringing him to the Hawthorns on a more permanent basis.

West Brom have rejected an £18million bid from Manchester City for centre-back Jonny Evans, but Pulis admitted it would be “crazy” to turn down a bigger offer from Pep Guardiola's side.
