Neil Warnock was relieved of his duties on Saturday after a run of just one win in 12 matches saw the Eagles drop into the Premier League bottom three.
Millen had just 24 hours to prepare for Palace's encounter at Loftus Road, but managed to mastermind a vastly improved showing in their stalemate with the R’s.
However, the caretaker manager, who is in the running to be handed the reins on a permanent basis, admitted he is unaware of who co-owner Steve Parish has in mind to fill the vacant position, and is simply focused on their New Year’s Day fixture with Aston Villa.
"I honestly don’t know what is going on, we have had too much going on with today’s game," Millen told Sky Sports.
"I am sure there will be lots of rumours and discussion.
"I will speak to the chairman, I have done this before, and I just look forward to the Villa game.
"I just want to win football matches, and I like working with this group of players, no matter what my job title is."
Palace dominated large spells of the match, and restricted QPR to half chances from set pieces, and Millen admitted after such a tumultuous few days, the performance was very impressive.
"I am delighted, it has been a tough couple of days," Millen told Sky Sports.
"But you saw from the players how together they are as a group.
"It is a tough place to come, but we stood up to them.
"If you are being greedy, if we had more quality in the final third then we might have won the game, but in what was a difficult game, we did really well.
"With Neil leaving, it did shake everyone. It is not the first time it has happened here, but it makes the group stronger."
