Van Persie and Kagawa, who were joined by Javier Hernandez, were only at the event in a suite at Old Trafford for a few minutes but their presence less than 24 hours before the match suggests they could miss out against Wigan.
Van Persie was replaced during Holland's win over Hungary on Tuesday because of a thigh strain, with Louis van Gaal, the manager, stating it was a precautionary measure "but you never know".
Kagawa watched Japan's game with Iraq from the stands due to a back problem with the playmaker admitting on Wednesday it was causing him pain.
