Spurs reach agreement to sign Marco Belinelli


The San Antonio Spurs have reached agreement with free-agent guard Marco Belinelli on a two-year, $6 million contract, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Belinelli, 27, averaged 9.6 points in 73 games for the Chicago Bulls last season. He is a 38.7 percent 3-point shooter in six NBA seasons. The Spurs will be his fifth team.

The Spurs' agreement with Belinelli comes after they struck deals with two of their own free agents: guard Manu Ginobili (two years, $14 million) and center Tiago Splitter (four years, $36 million).

NBA free agency 2013: Earl Clark heads for Cavaliers


For two days, the Cavaliers put on a full-court press trying to persuade 25-year-old free-agent forward Earl Clark to come to Cleveland. Rejecting interest from the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers, Clark has agreed to a contract that will insert him into the middle of the Cavs' youth movement, a source told Sporting News.

Clark gets a two-year, $9 million contract.

In Cleveland, Clark will have the opportunity to win a starting job. The Cavaliers drafted UNLV forward Anthony Bennett, who can play either small forward or power forward, with the No. 1 overall pick. They have promising young power forward Tristan Thompson on board. New Cavs coach Mike Brown has long been a proponent of the "stretch-4" idea, employing big men who can also shoot from the perimeter.

Tyreke Evans headed to Pelicans in three-team deal



The New Orleans Pelicans have reached agreement on a three-way deal with Sacramento and Portland to acquire guard Tyreke Evans, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

As part of a sign-and-trade arrangement, Evans will come to the Pelicans on a four-year, $44 million contract. New Orleans will send guard Greivis Vasquez to the Kings and center Robin Lopez to the Trail Blazers, sources said.

Portland will send future draft considerations and cash in the deal, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

The trade came after free-agent point guard Jose Calderon rejected a contract offer from the Kings, league sources said. The Kings had hoped to sign Calderon and trade Vasquez to another team.

The threat of a four-year, $44 million offer sheet to Evans, a restricted free agent, prompted New Orleans and Sacramento to work out an agreement.

The deal can't be made official until July 10.

Evans, 23, averaged 15.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists for the Kings last season.

Vasquez was one of the NBA's most improved players last season, a fast-rising playmaker who averaged 13.9 points and nine assists for the Pelicans. He has a chance to become the Kings' starting point guard.

The Blazers needed a veteran center to plug into the lineup, and Lopez gives them a solid defender and rim protector. He has two years and $11 million left on an affordable contract.

想當年都有頭3pick 的 Billups, Mercer, 不過都係要第10 pick 的 pierce 先有轉機, 所以 pick 呢加野真係好講彩數, 幾多 LBJ 或 TD 可以讓隊波即時起死回生呢
