Monday 14 March
14:21 That's it from the press conference. More in-depth coverage of the points discussed to follow on ManUtd.com. (BH)
14:19 No long-term plans to play Wayne Rooney in an advanced midfield role. He did well there against Arsenal, but Sir Alex says it was a case of utilising the players he had available rather than any shift in positioning for United's no.10. (BH)
14:15 Chris Smalling on breaking into the team in Rio Ferdinand's injury-enforced absence: "My confidence is growing with each game. I've been playing against some big teams. If I get chances in these games then hopefully my confidence will grow even more." (BH)
14:13 Sir Alex on Vidic: He got a knock in Saturday's game. He was getting treatment on it this morning and so couldn't train." So he should be fit to play. Jonny Evans been doing gym work. Not available for Tuesday, could be ready for Saturday, but most likely after the internationals. (BH)
14:09 More injury updates from the boss: "Key is to have everyone available. We're in three competitions. Ji-sung Park is making good progress, we'll hopefully have him back for Saturday. Owen Hargreaves started training. You never know, we may have him available for the end of the season. The important thing is to have players for the run-in. If you do that then it increases our chances [of success]."
14:05 Boss on Marseille: "We have to recognise Marseille are an experienced, powerful side. They'veshowed their qualities away from home and that's what we'll be up against on Tuesday." (BH)
14:02 Boss on Nani possible inclusion against Marseille: "There's a good chance he'll be involved. He and Michael Carrick trained on Sunday [and today]. Both will be involved tomorrow." And on Antonio Valencia: "It's great to have him back. The question is should I play him from the start. It's a fantastic bonus to have him back." (BH)
13:59 We're about to get underway, Sir Alex is just taking his seat alongside Chris Smalling. (BH)
13:51 The English press pack and their French counterparts have descended on Old Trafford for Sir Alex's pre-match press conference. It's busy here in the Europa Suite, where the media briefing is held. Plenty of interest on both sides of the channel. I'll report back throughout the press conference on any major news nuggets. (BH)
13:30 I'll hand the Today at Old Trafford baton to Ben Hibbs now - he's heading to the stadium's Europa Suite to cover Sir Alex's pre-match press conference. It starts at 14:00 - look out for team news shortly thereafter. (AB)
13:26 I've added a couple of videos from this morning's open training session. I had to film at a respectable distance from the training area but our Flip camera still gives you an idea of what goes on. Look out for some nice touches from first-team coach and former skills coach Rene Meulensteen. Click the links on the left to watch the action. (AB)
