Ince pens loan deal Crystal Palace Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Tom Ince on a loan deal until the end of the season. The England under-21 winger, who celebrated his 22nd birthday yestoday, joins the Eagles from Championship side Blackpool.
Ince had attracted interest from a number of other Premier League clubs, but has opted to sign for Tony Pulis’ men after holding talks in SE25 earlier this week.
The winger came through the youth ranks at Liverpool but failed to make a first team appearance at Anfield, before joining the Tangerines in August 2011.
He made his debut for the club in a League Cup defeat to Sheffield Wednesday later that month,
scoring his first professional goals in the 2-1 victory over Doncaster Rovers that October.
Ince had another impressive season during the 2012/13 campaign, scoring 18 Championship goals from a wide position –
a tally that helped him scoop Blackpool’s Player of the Year award and secure a place in the Championship Team of the Year.
After bagging seven goals in 23 matches so far this season, Ince is now hoping to carry his fine form into the Premier League with Palace.
Eagles midfielder, Stephen Dobbie, has returned to Blackpool on loan for the remainder of the season as part of the deal
