Ince pens loan deal

Crystal Palace Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Tom Ince on a loan deal until the end of the season.

The England under-21 winger, who celebrated his 22nd birthday yestoday, joins the Eagles from Championship side Blackpool.

Ince had attracted interest from a number of other Premier League clubs, but has opted to sign for Tony Pulis’ men after holding talks in SE25 earlier this week.

The winger came through the youth ranks at Liverpool but failed to make a first team appearance at Anfield, before joining the Tangerines in August 2011.

He made his debut for the club in a League Cup defeat to Sheffield Wednesday later that month,

scoring his first professional goals in the 2-1 victory over Doncaster Rovers that October.

Ince had another impressive season during the 2012/13 campaign, scoring 18 Championship goals from a wide position –

a tally that helped him scoop Blackpool’s Player of the Year award and secure a place in the Championship Team of the Year.

After bagging seven goals in 23 matches so far this season, Ince is now hoping to carry his fine form into the Premier League with Palace.

Eagles midfielder, Stephen Dobbie, has returned to Blackpool on loan for the remainder of the season as part of the deal

Liverpool have rejoined the race to sign Thomas Ince, according to Sky sources.

The 21-year-old looks set to leave Blackpool after they gave him permission to open talks with a number of Premier League clubs.

Ince, along with his father Paul, met with Swansea on Monday and he is due to meet Crystal Palace on Tuesday, while Stoke, Hull and Sunderland also want to talk terms.

But now news of Liverpool's renewed interest could see them emerge as favourites.

Ince began his career at Anfield before his move to Blackpool in 2011, where he has risen to prominence as one of the best players outside the Premier League.

Liverpool had looked at landing him last summer, and now they have rekindled their interest following their failure to land Mohamed Salah, who rejected them in favour of Chelsea.

French giants Monaco also remain keen on Ince, who could move to the principality outfit for just a moderate compensation fee at the end of the season.

Transfer news: Stoke have entered the race to sign exciting prospect Thomas Ince

Blackpool winger Thomas Ince has held talks with Stoke as he continues to weigh up a possible move to the Premier League.

A string of top-flight clubs are interested in signing the England U21 international, who has already spoken to Swansea.

Alongside his father Paul, he reportedly met with Stoke boss Mark Hughes on Tuesday and he will also be meeting Sunderland manager Gus Poyet at some point this week.

And Crystal Palace and Hull are also believed to have been given permission to speak with the 21-year-old.

Ince, who is out of contract at Blackpool this summer, clearly has a lot of possible deals to consider and

Transfer window: Thomas Ince set for Crystal Palace talks

Crystal Palace are working on a deal to sign Blackpool winger Tom Ince on loan until the end of the season.
The Eagles, who are four points from the relegation zone, have held talks with the 22-year-old and expect to finalise the transfer on Friday.
Palace are also hopeful of signing a goalkeeper and centre-back.The centre-back could be Ivan Ramis, 29, if the Wigan player lowers his wage demands,
while Palace have also been linked with Blackburn's Scott Dann, 26.

It is the potential signing of Ince, however, which will attract the most attention as the England
Under-21 international has been courted by a number of Premier League clubs, including Hull and Sunderland.
On Thursday Swansea withdrew from negotiations to sign the forward, with a club spokesman saying the the Welsh side was going to "pursue other options".
Palace co-chairman Steve Parish told BT Sport: "Tom's just an amazing player and an impressive young man.
"He's bright, articulate and destined for the very top of the game. If we could get him at our football club, we would be very proud to have him."

Ince, who began his career at Liverpool, has been given permission by Championship side Blackpool to discuss a loan move.
He has scored 33 goals in 113 matches for the Seasiders and was the subject of January interest from Liverpool last season,
while he turned down a move to newly-promoted Cardiff in the summer for family reasons.
The winger has not featured in either of Blackpool's two matches since his father, Paul, was sacked as manager on 21 January.

Winger moves out on loan

Thomas Ince has left Blackpool and joined Crystal Palace on loan until the end of the season.

The winger had been granted permission to speak to Premier League clubs this week, and has joined The Eagles on deadline day.

Ince, 22, made 113 appearances for The Seasiders, scoring 33 times.

Having joined Blackpool from Liverpool in 2011, he scored in the 2012 Championship play-off final, but finished on the losing side.

Ince's final appearance for the club came at Barnsley a fortnight ago, and his final goal came against Leeds United on Boxing Day.

Blackpool would like to thank Thomas for his efforts and wish him the best of luck in the future.
