Milan Jovanovic signs two-season contract
RSC Anderlecht and Liverpool FC reached an agreement as far as the transfer of Liverpool striker Milan Jovanovic is concerned today, Tuesday 2nd August 2011. The Serb will play for the Purple & White for the next two seasons.
"After long, but fruitful negotiations with Liverpool FC and Milan Jovanovic, we have reached an agreement to bind the striker to RSCA", Anderlecht manager Herman Van Holsbeeck said from Liverpool. "The player constitutes a surplus value for our current squad and will, in addition to his unmistakable talent, present the necessary experience. The management are extremely pleased with the fact that we have been able to bring the negotiations to a favourable conclusion. "
Milan Jovanovic will undergo the required medical tests on Thursday, after which the agreement will be sealed completely.
