Dan Wheldon was killed within a 15 motor vehicle pileup at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday inside the Izod IndyCar Series time finale.
Wheldon was 33.The crash started out in front of Wheldon, the reigning Indianapolis 500 champion and 2005 series champion, and his motor vehicle launched from a car in front of him, flipped into the Women Moncler Jackets catchfence and erupted in flames on Lap 12.
At 1 position through the crash, three cars and trucks were airborne and the other way up.
Wheldon was going for a $5 million benefit for he along with a fan in Sundays race. After starting up final, he had worked his way approximately 24th area within the 34 car area.
Immediately after announcing Wheldons passing at 6 p.m. ET, IndyCar introduced the Moncler Jackets race may be halted as well as the drivers would engage in a 5 lap parade in tribute to Wheldon.
