Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert has been handed a one-match touchline banLast Updated: November 21, 2012 11:15am The Football Association has confirmed that Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has been handed a one-match touchline ban.
Lambert was charged by the FA after comments he made about match officials following Villa's loss at City.
The Villa chief accepted the charge and as a result has been handed a one-match ban, which will mean he will be forced to sit in the stands for this weekend's clash with Arsenal.
An FA statement read: "Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has admitted a breach of FA Rule E3.
"It relates to language and/or behaviour amounting to improper conduct following his side's game at Manchester City on 17 November 2012.
"Lambert accepted the standard penalty for the charge and will now serve a one-match touchline ban to commence with immediate effect. He has also been fined £8,000."
