Hull City have today completed the signing of defender CurtisDavies from Birmingham City for an undisclosed fee. The 28-year-oldcentre-half has signed a three-year deal, keeping him at the KC Stadiumuntil 2016.



Speaking to the club this morning, Davies said: “I’m delighted to be here.
“Ifeel that I’m joining Hull City at an exciting time and the chance toplay in the Barclays Premier League was also a huge attraction. It’ssomething that I’ve been lucky enough to do before and I wanted to getback to that level.
“Hopefully I can help thisteam to have a good season and push as high up the table as possible. Ican’t wait for Chelsea on the first day of the season now.”
Daviesarrives with more than 300 senior appearances to his name and will joinup with his new team-mates for the start of pre-season training inearly July.

Hull City have today completed the signing of defender Curtis Davies from Birmingham City for an undisclosed fee. The 28-year-old centre-half has signed a three-year deal, keeping him at the KC Stadium until 2016.

Speaking to the club this morning, Davies said: “I’m delighted to be here.

“I feel that I’m joining Hull City at an exciting time and the chance to play in the Barclays Premier League was also a huge attraction. It’s something that I’ve been lucky enough to do before and I wanted to get back to that level.

“Hopefully I can help this team to have a good season and push as high up the table as possible. I can’t wait for Chelsea on the first day of the season now.”
