Sky sources understand that Cardiff City have agreed a fee with Blackpool for winger Tom Ince.The 21-year-old - son of Blackpool boss Paul - has flourished at Bloomfield Road since moving from Liverpool in the summer of 2011.
His performances have attracted the interest of a number of Premier League clubs, with a dramatic return to Anfield believed to have been close last January.
That move never materialised but Blackpool's failure to secure a return to the top flight last season meant it was always going to be a struggle to keep the England Under-21 international should Premier League clubs come calling.
Cardiff, who ran away with the Championship title last term, have yet to dip into the transfer market this summer as they plan for their first-ever Premier League campaign.
But an agreement is now believed to be in place to bring Ince to south Wales.
