Miralem Pjanic would relish the opportunity to play for Barcelona or Real Madrid, but has acknowledged it may not be the right time to leave Roma.
The Bosnia international has previously been linked with a move to Borussia Dortmund this summer to replace the Bayern Munich-bound Mario Gotze.
Tottenham Hotspur have also been mooted as admirers of the playmaker, and recent reports claimed Barcelona were preparing an ?11million (£9.4m) offer.
Pjanic would not turn down the chance to move to the Nou Camp, but also conceded that Barcelona's arch-rivals Real Madrid are his favourite club.
However, Pjanic has echoed the recent sentiments of his agent by confirming he is happy at Roma and is in no rush to leave the Serie A club.
"I have been a Real Madrid fan since I was a boy," Pjanic was quoted by Oslobodjenje. "Certainly, this is my favourite club.
"Barcelona? Who wouldn't like to play for them?
"I feel good at Roma, though, and at this point I don't know if I'll leave this summer."

Tottenham and Manchester City target Miralem Pjanic is going nowhere, new Roma manager Rudi Garcia has decided.

Playmaker Pjanic fell out with former boss Zdenek Zeman last season and a departure was probable, with both Premier League sides keen.

Barcelona were also credited with an interest in the Bosnian, who joined Roma from Lyon in 2011.

But Garcia, who took as over as boss last month, has told director of football Walter Sabatini that Pjanic is not for sale.

The pair met ahead of the Serie A's side tour of America to discuss transfer plans.

Garcia is said to have presented Sabatini with a list of six players he wants to sign this summer - but also made the 58-year-old aware of his desire to keep Pjanic in Rome.

Atletico Madrid are vying with Tottenham for the signature of Roma star Miralem Pjanic.

talkSPORT told you on Tuesday that Spurs are reprising their interest in the Bosnian as Andre Villas-Boas draws up a list of potential replacements for Gareth Bale, who is tipped to join Real Madrid.

Atletico Madrid have cash available after selling Radamel Falcao to Monaco in a big-money deal earlier this summer and they are also keen on the 23-year-old.

But Pjanic, who netted three goals in 27 Serie A appearances last term, is fully focused on the season ahead at the Stadio Olimpico.

He told Tuttomercatoweb: "The atmosphere is good, we are working well and we will give our best to produce a better season than last year."
