EXCLUSIVE – Arsenal to meet with Gareth Barry tomorrow Regular readers of this site know that we rarely claim something as an exclusive and we rarely get information that others don’t have. The stories that we have got as ‘exclusives’ have all turned out to be right [Gervinho’s actual medical, Theo’s new contract terms and announce date, Peter Hill-Wood resigning] and the Adidas deal was correct before Puma came in with a great offer.I tell you this to try and back up the story we bring you today given that I can’t actual reveal who told me and given this information it is now your choice if you want to believe what follows.I’d rather not believe it if I’m honest.According to my source Arsenal are holding a meeting with Manchester City’s Gareth Barry tomorrow in regards to the midfielder joining us.I don’t have any more information than that other than when it was first rumoured that we were interested in Barry I sneered at the rumour for a number of reasons.Of course, meeting him and signing him are two very different things but speaking to some Manchester City people they are of the mind that City want to shift Barry on so he is available.Just what we would do with a 32 year old lumbering midfielder who is on £100k per week I have no clue.I’m sure Arsene knows eh?
